1. Mang nghĩa"hỏng hóc, hư hỏng (máy)"
=A machine or device that is out of order is broken and does not work.
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- Their phone's out of order.

- I’m afraid we have to walk up the stairs – the elevator is out of order.
2. Mang nghĩa"không đúng nội quy, không đúng thủ tục, không có trật tự"
=If you say that someone or their behaviour is out of order, you mean that their behaviour is unacceptable or unfair.

- You don't think the paper's a bit out of order in publishing it?
- The witness’s comment was ruled out of order by the judge.
- His behaviour in the meeting was out of order.
