II. Cách dùng
1. Mang nghĩa "tiếp tục làm việc gì đó"
=to continue to do something / to continue to pretend that something is true

- Keep up the good work. (Cứ tiếp tục làm tốt công việc như thế)

- We’re on a winning streak – hopefully we can keep it up.
- The trade unions continued to keep up pressure for higher wages.
- She tried to appear cheerful but couldn’t keep it up.
- His family kept up the pretence that he had been ill.

- Keep up your courage! (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: Cứ can đảm lên!)
2. Mang nghĩa "bắt kịp/sánh với/cập nhật"
=to move at the same speed as someone or something /to continue to learn about something or find out about something, so that you know the latest things that are happening / to continue to understand what someone is saying

- I told you she’s my sister, not my girlfriend. Keep up!
- I found myself unable to keep up with the conversation.
3. Mang nghĩa "làm ai trằn trọc không ngủ được"
=to prevent someone from going to bed
